Liburdi Turbine Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the field of precision metal machining. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-tolerance industrial and aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities- Program CNC machines using Mastercam software for vertical mills and grinders
- Determine machine operations, select cutting tools, and compute dimensions for machining components
- Create process setup sheets and tool setup sheets for CNC machined components
- Coordinate with engineering and quality departments for new machining development
- Perform inspection and testing to verify part compliance to customer requirements
- Assist operators with training and tasks, and communicate with line manager on priorities and schedule requirements
- Perform maintenance checks and minor repairs on machines as needed
- College-level diploma or certification in Manufacturing Technology or CNC programming
- CNC programming experience in MasterCam (3 to 5 axis) and proficiency in CAD tools
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification as General Machinist or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in CNC programming for 3-5 axis milling in a precision metal machining environment
This is a full-time day shift position. The successful candidate will be required to pass a standard background check.
