We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead our project team in Winnipeg.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the performance of assigned project managers and ensure they comply with PMO methodology.
- Monitor and resolve project roadblocks in alignment with PMO guidance and address project team conflicts.
- Ensure project managers assertively address conflicts with stakeholders and sponsors, review and approve key project management artifacts, and perform project initiation and planning according to company standards.
- Develop budget development, tracking, and variance reporting, resource planning and assignment, schedule management, status reporting, issue management, project change management, quality management, risk management, communication management, and deliverable acceptance process.
- Expertise in project lifecycles and project planning including resource, cost, and schedule estimation.
- Experience developing business cases and providing oversight and managing performance of project managers.
- Strong facilitation skills and experience planning and managing projects in a Public Sector organization is an asset.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet is desired, and must have Windows based computer with standard Windows applications, own Visio license, and own communication device.
