About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer - Cloud Expert to join our team at EVONA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, with a focus on Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Develop and manage Kubernetes clusters on major cloud platforms.
  • Optimize Kubernetes for peak performance and efficient resource use.
  • Contribute to the team's journey towards achieving security accreditations.
  • Implement and oversee containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, especially with CI/CD toolchains.
  • Proven expertise with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience with Docker and docker-compose.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and the ELK stack.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of MQTT brokers such as Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, or Mosquitto.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in containerized environments.
  • Experience with industrial IoT applications.
