As a WMS and Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics equipment and maintaining the highest levels of equipment availability for our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of logistics equipment.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to keep handheld devices and robots in optimal operating conditions.
  • Read, understand, and train according to technical documents of equipment.
  • Complete work orders with proper documentation.
  • Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers.
  • Maintain inventory records for supplies.
  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders, and work efficiently to fix the issue, minimizing downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements.
  • Propose actions to improve the performance of PDAs, robots, and other machines in terms of productivity, security, or organization.
  • Physically inspect newly installed PDAs, AGVs, and other machines to prevent maintainability or operating issues.

Requirements:

  • Degree from a vocational school with a focus in Mechatronic, Electronic, or Electrical field.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with bagging machines is desired.
  • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance is desired.
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience in interpreting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
