About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Clerk to join our team at Express Welding Supplies Inc. as a Financial Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and managing financial statements, ledgers, and other financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ledger Management: Manage and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute financial reports to management and stakeholders, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution company.
  • Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and strong communication skills.
