Senior Java Developer Role

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex software components and applications.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

  1. Minimum 10 years of core Java development experience (version 8.0 or above).
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience with database development using SQL.
  3. Minimum 8 years of experience with shell scripting in a Unix/Linux environment.
  4. Minimum 5 years of Spring Boot experience.
  5. Minimum 3 years of front-end GUI development experience (Javascript/Angular).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with development using Kafka is an asset.
  • Experience with using Nifi is an asset.
  • Recent Capital Markets Murex experience is a plus and will be prioritized.

Soft Skills

  • Good communication skills to work cross-functionally with business users, product owners, and project managers.
  • Team player and ability to collaborate across teams and functions.

Degree Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
