About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Adeline Catz. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
    • Dust and polish furniture to maintain a high level of cleanliness
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to prevent dust and dirt buildup
  • Household Management
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable living space
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to maintain a high level of hygiene
    • Stock linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Personal Care and Support
    • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
    • Provide support with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shopping and Errands
    • Shop for food and household supplies to maintain a well-stocked pantry and cleaning supplies
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained environment
    • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a hygienic environment
    Requirements
    • Education
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Experience
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
    • Language
      • English or French language proficiency
    • Work Hours
      • 40 hours per week
