Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. This includes independent nursing services, administration of intervention and treatments, a leadership role within the healthcare team, and facilitating coordination of patient care and discharge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

- Graduate of an approved Registered Psychiatric Nursing program or approved Registered Nursing program required.

">

- Knowledge of College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses/Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Psychiatric/Registered Nurses.

">

- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.

">

Benefits:

The successful applicant may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 each year until 2025 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU collective agreement.

- Moderate to heavy physical effort required.
