Job Description for Barber at Thickwood Barber Shop

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Thickwood Barber Shop. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting and grooming services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair according to client preferences and instructions
  • Shampoo customers' hair and provide a clean and comfortable experience
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches to perfection
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with clients' physical features and preferences
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure a positive experience
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
Working Conditions:
  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language required
