Job DescriptionThe Heavy Equipment Supervisor will be responsible for:
Supervising a team of 5-10 workers and ensuring that they have the necessary training and equipment to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
Coordinating and scheduling activities to meet work schedules and deadlines.
Requisitioning materials and supplies as needed.
Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the work site is safe for employees and visitors.
Providing technical advice and guidance to workers and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
The successful candidate will have:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and transportation, with experience working outdoors in dusty environments.
