Job Title: Software Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our team at Groupe SII. As a Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test procedures for various types of tests, including functional, GUI, integration, regression, data validation, and overall system integration.
  • Develop and maintain reliable and maintainable test automation solutions to control software regression.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of test failures, and document and report findings to the development team and defect tracking system.
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects and improve software quality.
  • Participate in project planning stages to estimate and plan efforts, strategies, and resources related to verification and validation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software system, black box, integration, exploration, performance, load, and regression testing.
  • Demonstrated experience in software development in C, C++, or C#.
  • Experience with IP network protocols (TCP/UDP/IP).
  • Fluency in English and French (working proficiency).
