FP&A Analyst Job Description

Forthright Properties is a leading property management company dedicated to delivering exceptional housing solutions to our communities. With a commitment to excellence, a focus on customer service, and a positive tenant experience, we are seeking a skilled FP&A Analyst to contribute to our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and analyses to inform business decisions.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
  3. Design and implement data visualization tools to present complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner.
  4. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly cost analysis and variance analysis.
  5. Conduct benchmarking surveys and corporate projects to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
  6. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Proactively identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Assist with new project business case analysis and ROI calculations to inform investment decisions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in residential property management preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Finance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
