Job Description
This Data Clerk opportunity is part of our Cardiac Surgery and Structural Heart Programs at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a Data Clerk, you will be responsible for data intake, review, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in the CoreHealth database. You will also collaborate with Coordinators from Cardiac Surgery, Structural Heart, and Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) Cath Lab to manage waitlist data.
Responsibilities
- Data Intake and Review: Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in the CoreHealth database.
- Waitlist Management: Collaborate with Coordinators to manage waitlist data.
- Data Reconciliation: Reconcile data weekly to ensure accuracy in the CoreHealth database.
- Data Reporting: Work closely with the Cardiac Surgery Manager to review, interpret, and report data.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- TWO YEARS OF CLERICAL EXPERIENCE IN A HEALTH CARE ENVIRONMENT.
- DATA ENTRY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IN COLLECTION OF DATA FROM CHART REVIEWS.
- SKILLS IN PREPARING VARIOUS DETAILED STATISTICAL REPORTS.
- COMPUTER SKILLS, INCLUDING WORD PROCESSING, SPREADSHEET, AND DATABASE MANAGEMENT.
