Heavy Duty/Automotive Mechanic

Job Summary
Strike Group is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty/Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of branded power system products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty and automotive equipment
- Assist with mechanical repair and maintenance of machinery and compressors in the shop and the field
- Support and participate in a culture of safety and adhere to Strike Group's Code of Conduct and Values
- Maintain good relationships with vendors and prioritize field/shop repairs with respect to logistics of the utilized equipment
- Align the maintenance and upkeep of fleet vehicles/equipment with federal commercial vehicle inspections and regulations
Requirements
- Ticketed Journeyperson preferred
- 3rd or 4th year Registered Apprentices will be considered
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors
Working Conditions
The Heavy Duty/Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
