Director of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic vision for procurement and sourcing functions to align with company's long-term objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional team to optimize on-time supply, resource utilization, and profitability.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to integrate procurement strategies into overall business plan.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers and partners to mitigate risks and ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Analyze current procurement processes and inventories to recommend and implement changes that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and execute strategies to diversify supplier base, including sourcing from domestic, U.Asia, and international markets.
  • Lead and develop high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Manage and control procurement budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and innovations in procurement and sourcing, advising senior management team on potential impacts and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing within manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading procurement strategies that align with corporate goals and drive organizational success.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence at senior level, with record of accomplishment of building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain management, procurement practices, and strategic sourcing, with experience in both domestic and international markets.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
