The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing potential suppliers, making decisions on new item suppliers, negotiating parts prices, and coordinating with parts suppliers.

The role involves:

  • Sourcing and selecting reliable suppliers
  • Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
  • Coordinating with internal and external customers
  • Reviewing legal documentation and developing procurement policies

Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal and external customers
  • Reviewing supplier requirements and release quotations
  • Performing cost analysis and creating detailed price breakdowns
  • Negotiating supply agreements and cost models with key suppliers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • 7+ years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in the E-powertrain manufacturing/automotive industry

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand 2D/3D drawings and knowledge of design tools
