Job Summary: Macpower Digital Assets Edge seeks a skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee its financial and accounting activities. Key responsibilities include ensuring liquidity, financial planning, reporting, and compliance. A strong preference is given to candidates located in Canada, with fluency in English or bilingual skills. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 8-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, including experience in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in MS Office, including Excel for financial analysis, Word for documentation, and PowerPoint for presentations. They should be able to work remotely in Canada and have the ability to collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and analyze financial data. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating and maintaining short-term and long-term financial plans, including budgets and forecasts. They must also manage all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Furthermore, they will ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state laws and regulations. Finally, they will work closely with department heads to develop budgets and analyze financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Create and maintain short-term and long-term financial plans, including budgets and forecasts.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to develop budgets and analyze financial data.
