Estimating Process Analyst

SaskPower is a leading provider of electricity in Saskatchewan, Canada. Our goal is to deliver reliable and efficient energy services to our customers. To achieve this goal, we require the expertise of a skilled Estimating Process Analyst.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering or related field and at least five years of experience in project estimating. They must possess exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and direction skills are also essential, as is excellent oral and written communication ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes, policies, and procedures used for the development of strategies and business initiatives that address the organization's requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in a specialized function to develop, implement, coach, and assist management staff in the administration and interpretation of corporate policies.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new business solutions and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects to provide functional expertise for corporate and departmental strategic planning initiatives.
  • Prepare and present material to internal and external audiences as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry developments and best practices related to area of specialization and adapt them to SaskPower's operational environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in project estimating.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and direction skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
