Job Title: Overhead Door Service Technician

At Northern Dock Systems, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Overhead Door Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing loading dock and overhead door equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair loading dock and overhead door equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Work with coordinators to obtain parts and schedule repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck with necessary parts and tools
  • Identify and report low stock levels and require re-ordering
  • Complete daily work reports and PMP checklists in a timely manner
  • Supervise and train apprentices as needed
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in the overhead door and loading dock industry
  • Highly proficient with hand and power tools
  • Sound mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge is an asset
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Basic computer knowledge to complete daily work
