About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Western Human Resource Corp. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals living in group homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals.
  • Case Management: Assess clients' needs and develop individualized plans to address their specific requirements.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement programs that promote client well-being and independence.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and program activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Behaviour management Certification, Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, Intensive behavioural intervention Certification, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, Medication Administration Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Group home setting.
