About the Role

WARIS CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct building frames, walls, and roofs.
  • Build Foundations and Install Floor Beams: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Work: Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects and minimize delays.
  • Supervise Other Workers: Supervise other workers to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for projects to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.

Requirements
