Job Title: Medical Science Liaison Oncology

Takeda is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison Oncology to join our team in Quebec, Canada. As a Medical Science Liaison Oncology, you will play a key role in driving the implementation of our country medical affairs plans related to KOL engagement and data dissemination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the oncology field to expand Takeda's research, advisory, and educational partnership opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with KOLs, investigators, and other stakeholders to provide credible scientific expertise and support Takeda's clinical research programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of country medical affairs plans, including KOL engagement and data dissemination strategies.
  • Provide scientific liaison support to investigators involved in Takeda-sponsored interventional or observational studies and investigator-initiated research.
  • Facilitate scientific interactions with healthcare professionals, including 1:1 and group interactions.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical literature and critical appraisal of scientific publications to provide high-quality scientific exchange with healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in relevant disease areas and MSL best practices to support Takeda's medical affairs initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
  • Therapeutic area experience in colorectal cancer and/or lung cancer.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, including weekends and holidays.
