About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at Arup. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conceptual design to construction, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions using advanced software and tools
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Communicate technical information to clients and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, and advanced reinforced concrete design
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Eligibility to work in Canada without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework in structural dynamics and earthquake engineering
  • Experience with structural software, Revit, and 3D modeling
  • Technical writing and presentation skills
  • History of extracurricular activities or volunteer work in the field
