Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at MONTANA GROUP OF COMPANIES LIMITED. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, including electronic schedulers and dispatch management service software
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work setting is in the transportation and freight forwarding industry in the private sector.
