Job Description

As a key member of our healthcare team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing nursing care according to established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Utilizing sound nursing principles to deliver exceptional patient care in assigned home areas.
  • Ensuring timely and safe admissions, transfers, and discharges for residents.
  • Maintaining accurate records and following protocols for drug management.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • The ability to work effectively with individuals who may have infectious diseases.
  • A valid BLS Certificate and current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV).
  • A negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B immunity.
  • A current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexible shifts, including 8- or 12-hour rotations.
  • Flexibility to 'float' between units within a hospital as needed.
  • Reliability in accepting scheduled placements at designated facilities.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
