Job Title: Senior WordPress Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team at YES IT Labs LLC. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality for our WordPress-based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress-based projects
  • Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform to the WordPress coding standards
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites, plugins, and themes
  • Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome inspector
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Monitoring the performance of live websites
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Requirements:

  • ~3+ years' experience with Woo Commerce and WordPress
  • ~2 years' experience in Shopify
  • ~3+ years front-end development, solid project-level experience with WordPress, HTML, and CSS
  • Previous development firm/agency experience preferred
