Hairstylist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team at MOONLIGHT DAY SPA INC. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for beauty care and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules.
  • Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments, including shampooing, shaving, and styling.
  • Supervise other hair stylists and staff members.
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair.
  • Apply hair extensions and perform other hair styling techniques.
  • Maintain and order supplies, and perform receptionist duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods.
