Job Description:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Project estimating: identifying bid opportunities, analyzing plans & proposals, assessing risks/opportunities, defining scope of work, soliciting subcontractor and supplier bids, and overall preparation of bid submittals
  • Project management: leadership of project safety & employees, coordination of resources, risk management, CPM schedule, monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance
  • Comprehensive project budget tracking and analysis
  • Maintaining good client business relationships as well as cultivating new business opportunities
  • Managing client expectations and negotiating toward successful outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ years' of related work experience
  • Gold Seal Certification preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high production environment
  • Experience in field operations management and estimating from a contractor's perspective
  • Strong teamwork, self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, along with tact and professionalism
  • Ability to ensure a commitment to project delivery, client service, and quality management within budget
