Barkers' Trophies is seeking a skilled Product Merchandiser to join our team. As a Product Merchandiser, you will be responsible for studying market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to determine the best products to purchase. You will also be responsible for arranging products according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and negotiating prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to determine product requirements.
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal display and sales.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
