Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vacuum Truck Driver to join our team at Go Time Energy Services Ltd. As a Vacuum Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vacuum truck to transport goods and materials, while ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate a vacuum truck to transport goods and materials, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Transport goods and materials to various locations, while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect and Maintain Vehicle: Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and communicate with other drivers and team members as needed.
  • Record and Report: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), CPR Certificate, Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Driver's License (Class 3 or D), First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Experience and Skills: Have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to sit for extended periods, and have the physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
