Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Business Architect Leader to join our Technology & Operations Strategy team in Canada. This role will play a key part in driving Canada's business and technology transformation to support our Digital Customer Leader (DCL) goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting business strategies and objectives with business leaders and performing architectural assessments to define target operating models that enhance end-to-end customer experiences, improve straight-through processing, and optimize our technology portfolio.
  • Facilitating outcome-based planning and roadmapping, qualifying investment ideas, and creating business and technology roadmaps to streamline transition from strategy to execution, accelerate technology innovation, and optimize technology portfolio.
  • Leading complex business transformations, completing capability and value stream assessments to address end-to-end business and technology impacts, and ensuring ongoing alignment between strategy and implementation.
  • Developing an integrated view of the organization's business architecture to support capability, value stream or customer journey assessments and defining and governing outcome-based transformation roadmaps.
  • Driving and facilitating product/vendor direction and integrating new technologies from an architectural perspective within the business environment, while optimizing costs and mitigating risks.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who can bring a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategizing and aligning business and technology plans, adopting new technologies, evaluating and coordinating technology investments, and optimizing application portfolios.

Requirements

  • A degree in business management, marketing, finance or technology plus minimum of 10 years' experience in progressing strategy roles in business and technology domains.
  • Comprehensive familiarity and proficiency in EA frameworks (Zachman, TOGAF) and Business Architecture Guild standard methodologies.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,070 CAD per annum, depending on location and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
