About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Brink's in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our Fleet Operations team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with trucks and trailers
  • Perform engine repairs and rebuilds
  • Repair and maintain transmissions, drivelines, and differentials
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems
  • Conduct thorough inspections and road tests to ensure quality of work
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to prioritize work and minimize downtime

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a mechanic on light and heavy equipment
  • Current 310T and 310S certifications in good standing
  • Ozone Depletion (ODP) certificate
  • Valid G Class or higher Driver's License
  • Action-oriented and able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
