Job Title: Senior Hydrogeologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team in Eastern Ontario. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing hydrogeological and terrain analysis studies to support our clients in the industrial, commercial, and municipal sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve hydrogeological and environmental project objectives.
  • Develop and oversee hydrogeological and/or ESA field programs, including borings, supply wells, and observation wells.
  • Recognize and identify potential hazards, working under strict occupational health and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with project teams and oversee the compilation and interpretation of hydrogeological data and conceptual site models.
  • Manage and coordinate small to large-scale projects.
  • Write and review quality technical reports in English and French.
  • Prepare service proposals, participate in local business development activities, and communicate with clients, government entities, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences, Geological, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in hydrogeological, ESA, and remediation projects for industrial, private, mining, and/or government clients.
  • Knowledge of geology, physical and chemical hydrogeology, environmental site assessments, contaminated site delineation, and remediation.
  • Experience with groundwater and surface water monitoring and sampling procedures, drilling, and installation of observation wells.
  • Familiarity with current Ontario environmental regulations and guidelines related to waste management, air, groundwater, surface water, soils, and/or sediment.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical oversight/peer review, staff mentoring/development, and other leadership abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write professional technical reports.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to travel locally and across the country on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to work independently in the office and in the field.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
