Backend Engineer Role at Dapper Labs

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team at Dapper Labs, where we are pushing the boundaries of blockchain technology in gaming and digital collectibles. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs that power our flagship projects, including Disney Pinnacle, NBA Top Shot, and NFL All Day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and secure backend systems using GoLang or NodeJS.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to design cohesive and integrated solutions.
  • Develop server-side logic to integrate with blockchain technologies and handle high-volume transactions.
  • Optimize system performance and reliability, ensuring the highest level of responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
  • Manage database interactions and data flow within the server environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience in backend development with a strong grasp of server-side languages.
  • Proficient in managing server environments and understanding core principles of scalable architecture.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and dynamic team collaboration.
  • Passion for blockchain technology and its applications in gaming and digital collectibles.

  • Proven track record of deploying and managing cloud-based server environments.
  • Strong experience with databases and server-side integration with various database technologies.
