Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers in the grocery department, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assign Sales Workers: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that the right staff are in the right place at the right time.
  • Exhibit Design and Development: Work with exhibit designers to plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated regularly.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
