About the Role

Executive Aviation is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Aircraft Cleaner to join our team at the Halifax airport. As an Aircraft Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy for its next round of travelers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vacuum all areas of the plane, including the flight deck, galleys, and passenger seating areas.
  • Remove trash and debris throughout the aircraft.
  • Clean and wipe all areas, including walls, trays, and kitchen areas.
  • Ensure closets and cabinets are stocked appropriately.
  • Mop and deodorize gallery floors.
  • Organize seat pocket pamphlets, wipe down seat belts and trays, and meet proper seat appearance guidelines.
  • Clean aircraft windows and overhead bins.
  • Fully clean and sanitize the aircraft lavatory.
  • Maintain inventory and stocking supply areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with industrial cleaning is an asset.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, and push and pull for extended periods of time.
  • A physical ability to consistently lift up to 20lbs/32kgs.
  • Must be willing to work independently and follow instructions well.
  • Must be able to acquire a Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada.
