Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are a boutique consulting company based out of Toronto, specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions. Our team consists of experienced professionals who have worked with top clients in various industries, including banking, telco, energy, and retail.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to design, build, and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP features and services, and apply this knowledge to improve our clients' cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, security, and high availability.
- Experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Knowledge of database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
