Job Title: Network Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Solutions Architect to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly distributed global systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex software components and applications
  • Manage network infrastructure, security, data, and application development
  • Author architectural patterns to improve processes and develop technical specifications
  • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts
  • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions
  • Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of software engineering industry experience
  • Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global systems
  • Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development
  • Experience with structured architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps
