Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

Xcel Construction Limited is seeking a skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of underground wiring and cables
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including keeping records and documentation
  • Assist in the design and construction of single-phase and multiphase electrical services
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and overhead cables
  • Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures
  • Estimate costs and materials for electrical projects
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
