Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Work Conditions

35 to 40 hours per week, permanent position, English language required.
