The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care in accordance with established organizational policies, procedures, guidelines, and other controls on practice. This role practices in a variety of clinical settings and works collaboratively with clients, their healthcare teams, and primary care providers. Utilizing a community-focused approach, the RN ensures the delivery of client-centered care to achieve and maintain maximum health through promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health, as well as prevention, treatment, and palliation of illness and injury.
Qualifications: Education, Training, and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, candidates must possess registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant, along with two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A valid BC driver's license is also required.

- Completion of initial and ongoing client assessments and provision of nursing care through evidence-based guidelines.
- Instruction of clients and others on topics essential to health care and well-being.
- Effective time and resource management.
- Application of knowledge of care planning and coordination, including community programs and services.
- Community health practice, chronic disease management, geriatric, and palliative nursing within a client- and caregiver-centered care approach.
- Integration of research and evidence-based best practice into professional nursing practice.
- Ability to operate related equipment and technology, including relevant computer applications.
The estimated salary for this role is approximately $83,000-$110,000 per year, based on factors such as location and level of experience.
