As a Commissary Production Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior leadership team and contribute to the success of our operations.

Key Accountabilities
The Commissary Production Team Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leading the preparation, production, and execution of menu items
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and its equipment
  • Executing other custodial duties as needed
  • Receiving and storing deliveries from suppliers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensuring the effective storage, management, and rotation of all products to maintain the highest level of food quality and safety
  • Performing cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks to ensure the equipment and food production spaces are always clean and sanitized

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience with a general understanding of cooking and cleaning fundamentals and practices
  • A strong understanding of food safety and public health practices
  • Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask when required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, and respectfully and work well with others in a team-based setting
  • Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods
  • Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as business demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Work Permit required
  • Preferred but not required: Food Handlers Certification
  • Open Availability is a must (Monday to Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm)
