Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Supervisor to join our team at Springbrook General Store.
Job Summary:The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing inventory, and supervising sales staff. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Staff to Duties: Ensure that sales staff are assigned to duties that align with their skills and strengths.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Manage Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Authorize Returns: Review and authorize returns of merchandise to ensure that they meet our store's return policy.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales staff to ensure that the store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
- Sell Merchandise: Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain a clean and organized inventory system to ensure that merchandise is easily accessible and visible to customers.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Spend time standing, walking, and sitting to perform various tasks and duties.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and dependability in all aspects of the job.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with sales staff and other team members to achieve business objectives.
