We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate tech professional to join our Software Development team as a Senior Full Stack Developer. Key Responsibilities

  • Translate software requirements into working software and code, maintain, enhance, develop, and test applications for use in AMA.
  • Work with web applications, with a strong focus on Serverless apps, and mentor and share expertise with other developers on the team and in the department.
  • Help guide higher-level architecture and design, research and resolve problems, and promote a positive security culture, particularly in the development of software systems.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of IT service management standards, tools, and methodologies, and investigate new products, tools, and technology to add value to the business.
  • Create user-centric applications by considering customer feedback, technical constraints, opportunities, and usability findings, and enforce test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration to ensure our products consistently meet or exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • University degree or technical diploma in a related field such as Information Technology or Computer Science, and 5 years or more of progressive web development experience in everything from architecture to a firm understanding of design concepts and deployment of highly available web and mobile applications.
  • Highly skilled with authentication and authorization frameworks and policies, comfortable working with data security at rest and transit, database modeling, and database transaction management, and significant experience with most of the following: React, modern JavaScript, TypeScript, Full web stack, developing data-backed applications using a combination of REST, GraphQL, NoSQL and RDBMS technologies, AWS experience with CDK, CloudFormation, Lambda, and CodePipeline, Microservice and serverless architectures, working with CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
