Job Title: Sit Down Operator

We are seeking a skilled Sit Down Operator to join our team at a leading transportation and freight company in SE Calgary. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in receiving, organizing, and preparing freight, as well as handling LTL duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against shipping documents
  • Sort and segregate freight based on destination
  • Stage freight for outbound shipments in an organized manner
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a cross dock or warehouse environment
  • Valid Forklift license
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
