Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced technologist to work in a dynamic and growing healthcare environment. As an Echocardiography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic medical ultrasound images to assess cardiac structure and function.

Your primary role will be to ensure accurate information is provided to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will conduct examinations in accordance with CoreHealth/Accreditation Canada, CMRITO, and KMH protocols, policies, and procedures.

You will also instruct or aid patients onto the examination table, use proper patient positioning technique, imaging probes, equipment settings, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in a similar role, with current registration in good standing with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario). They will also possess proof of Professional Liability Insurance, familiarity with GE Vivid machines, CPR certification, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office (MS Word and Outlook).
