Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Dining Server to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities. As a Dining Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and serve food in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  2. Take orders, set and strip tables, and serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Unpack and store supplies, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  4. Wash, clean, and sort dishes, cutlery, and equipment used for food preparation and service.
  5. Operate and clean food equipment, furniture, and maintain the dining area.
  6. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.
  • Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
  • High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset.

Terms of Employment

Part-time, temporary, hourly position.
