About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Riverside Resort Motel & Campground. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax and income tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Accurate, organized, reliable, and strong time management skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
