We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at BROOKRIDGE CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTS INC. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement internal controls to prevent errors and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Permanent employment status
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
