Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Clerk to join our team at Sioux Lookout Home Hardware Building Centre. As a Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining sales records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers and process sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist customers in finding products and providing information on merchandise or services
  • Maintain sales records and inventory control
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems
